Alan Shearer makes Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool predictions for season: In the Premier League, Alan Shearer has made some of the most accurate predictions in recent memory. The former Newcastle and Newcastle Utd striker, who retired from playing at the end of the 2012/13 season, has correctly picked the finish of 5 Premier League winners, and was the only pundit to predict both Manchester City and Chelsea finishing in the top three in the 2013/14 season.

It’s that time of year again! The Premier League is just weeks away from kicking off. The defending champions Manchester United are of course the favourites as they’ve won it before, but it should be interesting to see if Chelsea can retain their title, as they’ve been all sorts of promising this preseason. Liverpool are also a cause for concern, as they’ve struggled with the manager sacking, and have been linked with several other managers. What about Arsenal? Well, with a couple of big signings, they’re looking good again.

Over the next year, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool will all win league titles. The only way that they can prevent this is by finishing higher than each other in the Premier League table. Therefore, we predict that Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United will each win their leagues, with Liverpool winning the league by a point.. Alan Shearer has made his Premier League top-four prediction for the new season

Alan Shearer has predicted the top four teams in the Premier League for the upcoming season, with Chelsea winning the championship and Liverpool finishing fourth.

Brentford, a Premier League newcomer, hosts Arsenal on Friday night to kick off the 2021-22 season.

Manchester City is a Premier League club based in won their third championship in four years last season, finishing comfortably ahead of Manchester United is a football club based in England in second, Liverpool in third, and Chelsea in fourth.

Shearer thinks City will compete for the championship once again, but that the acquisition of Romelu Lukaku has made Chelsea the Premier League favorites.

‘Joining Manchester City would be a fantastic move for Harry Kane, but I don’t believe it means the Premier League championship fight is finished,’ says a source. Shearer wrote an article for Sport magazine.

‘It’s not going to be as easy for City, particularly now that Chelsea has signed Romelu Lukaku.’

‘Chelsea had everything but a striker last season, and there were far too many occasions when they had opportunities but failed to convert them.

‘We know Lukaku will score goals, so that alters everything. He promises a lot of things, which is why they went to such lengths to track him down and were ready to spend so much money to get him back to Stamford Bridge.

‘He’ll be a massive signing for them.’ To put it another way, he has the potential to make the difference between them becoming champions and not. That’s how crucial he is.

‘We’re talking about one of the greatest attackers in the world; Lukaku is that excellent. He is at the height of his career at the age of 28, and I believe he has grown significantly since leaving Manchester United for Inter Milan in 2019 as a result of his Serie A experience.

‘He’s a better all-round player today, plus he’s ambitious and wants to establish himself at Chelsea having been let go when he was younger.

‘Lukaku is joining a club that has everything in place to win the championship, despite the fact that a few teams will have something to say about it.’

While Shearer thinks Chelsea will win the Premier League this season, he also feels Man City, Man United, and Liverpool are in contention.

‘I’m anticipating it to be lot closer at the top than last time, with four clubs in contention for the title, not just City and Chelsea,’ he said. I’m only picking Thomas Tuchel’s team to win because they have Romelu Lukaku.

‘Manchester United struggled for consistency last season, but they have enjoyed the greatest transfer window so far, bringing in France defender Raphael Varane and Jadon Sancho, a very intriguing young player. They may even be able to get someone else in.

‘Liverpool just signed RB Leipzig centre-back Ibrahima Konate this summer, but given their defensive woes in recent months, they are now well-protected in that position.

‘It was a total coincidence that they had so many injuries in that one area.’ I’m not concerned about them up front because you know Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane will score goals if the squad is properly set up.

‘The one area they may have to look at before the window closes is midfield, where they have lost Georginio Wijnaldum to Paris St-Germain, but I have no doubt they will perform far better than last season, when so many things went wrong for them.’

‘As the reigning champions, City are the club to beat, and they have already bolstered their squad by signing Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish.

‘Grealish has cost them a lot of money, at £100 million and a new British transfer record, but he will only help Pep Guardiola’s squad.’
