Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ quarterback Tom Brady has really come back in the face of adversity. After a series of two defeats that threatened the team’s play-off hopes, 43-year-old Brady took over after a week’s absence with the Buccaneers. Brady showed his old uniform, which earned him six Super Bowl rings, and led the Buccaneers to three decisive victories. Brady made 15 of 23 passes for 196 yards and two touchdowns in his 26-14 victory over the Minnesota Vikings, ending a two-year losing streak. Brady struggled the following week as the Buccaneers lost 17 points, but history repeated itself as the veteran quarterback put on a comedy in a 31-27 win.

No interception for Brady on the last three outputs

They headed 17-0 at half-time after Brady was limited to 70 yards from passing and was down 24-7 early in the third period before Brady completed the return with two touchdowns to Chris Godwin and Antonio Brown. The return win allowed Brady to maintain his career record of seven games against the Falcons. Brady made 31 of 45 passes for 390 yards – 320 in the second half – and two touchdowns without winning an interception in a comeback that brought back memories of his Super Bowl LI winning when he was with the New England Patriots. The Patriots led 28-3 in the game, but Brady was able to keep the team under control on the way to a 34-28 overtime win.

Brady continued his spirited performance in his next outing against the Detroit Lions where he made 22 of 27 passes for 348 yards and four touchdowns without a pick in the first period to give the Buccaneers an insurmountable 34-0 half-time lead.

With a big lead, Brady was able to sit on the bench in the second half, allowing Blaine Gabbert’s attack to beat the Lions 47-7. Although he didn’t play in the second half, Brady had the second perfect game of his career against the Lions with a score of 158.3, according to Scott Smith of Buccaneers.com.

Brady had a historical game with four quarters

According to ESPN Stats & Info, Brady threw for 668 yards and six touchdowns in four quarters – the second half against the Falcons and the first half against the Lions.

According to Elias’ Sports Office, Brady became the first player in 40 years to make more than 600 passes in four quarters – a fantastic achievement for his age. Against the Lions, Brady also set a new franchise record for the number of touchdowns completed in one season (36 and more), surpassing Jameis Winston’s previous 33 last season.

Brady tries to stay undefeated against the Falcons

Brady will look undefeated on Sunday as they compete again against the Falcons in the regular season finale at Raymond James Stadium. Although the Buccaneers (10-5) have secured a playing area, they need a victory over the Falcons (4-11) to secure the fifth seed and a meeting with the NFC East champion in the Wild Card game. According to Cameron DaSilva of USA Today, the Buccaneers entered the week with a 6.5 point lead on the Falcons and +225 on the silver line.
