Conley also threw seven assists and Donovan Mitchell added 15 points for Jazz. Derrick Favors added 14 points and 11 rebounds as Utah earned his first home victory of the season.

Paul George led Los Angeles by 25 points, eight rebounds and six steals. Kawhi Leonard contributed 20 points, 16 rebounds and nine assists. The Clippers shot only 38.8% of the field.

Los Angeles lost up to 20 points in the second half and fought back in the fourth quarter. The Clippers reduced Utah’s lead to 95-94 after George sunk a 3-point lead with 3:15 left.

Rudy Gobert reacted with a lay-up, after which Conley sank his seventh triple at 1:49 a.m. from the end to prevent Los Angeles from overtaking Jazz.

In the first quarter the Clippers became offensive lethargic. Los Angeles hit just 25 percent of the field in those 12 minutes and scored just two baskets after Nicholas Batum scored for a 13-11 lead halfway through the quarter.

This opened the door for Jazz at the end of the quarter, and Utah had no trouble finding his niche. Jazz took 52% of the field in the first half.

Utah scored seven straight baskets and nine out of ten to go on a 24-4 run over a 5½-minute period between the first and second quarters. Conley scored five of those baskets – including Utah’s last three goals in the first quarter – and scored 12 points in the first quarter alone.

Jordan Clarkson and Conley scored two triple points to give the Jazz a 37-19 lead for the second quarter.

The Clippers have almost cleared the shortfall for the rest break. Los Angeles scored in four consecutive attempts on Leonard’s baskets to reduce the deficit to 43-42.

Utah overcame a push and scored three straight baskets to finish half, crowned with a Favors dunk. The Jazz then opened the second half with three unanswered baskets and extended their lead to 67-47 on a Conley 3-point contact halfway through the third quarter.
