We’re almost a week into Fortnite Season 6 Chapter 2, and players are still finding their way through the game’s new features and cosmetics. One of the most anticipated elements of the new season is the planned crossover with DC Comics, with a full Batman/Fortnite: The comedy miniseries at ground zero will air in the spring. Early details about the series suggested that Batman, Catwoman, and a new version of Harley Quinn from Rebirth would all play a role in the comic (and, by extension, the game) – and it looks like another DC character will be joining him soon. A recently revealed cover for Batman/Fortnite: Zero point 4 shows that Slade Wilson’s skin/deathstrike will play a role in the game.
Deathstroke will be 100% stripped down in season 6, as I revealed a while back!

Deathstroke’s arrival in the world of Fortnite seems strange on many levels. Fans are especially hoping that Joe Manganiello will reprise the character after his role in Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Some have also speculated that the armor worn by Agent Jones in the season 6 teaser will partially include a shoulder similar to Deathstroke’s costume, especially if one of Deathstroke’s enemies in the comics, Teen Titans member Raven, is in the new season. Chapter 2 of Season 1 also introduced a brand new Battle Pass character that some immediately mistook for a Deathstroke riff.
Deathstroke is only the latest DC Comics character to potentially appear in Fortnite, after Batman, Catwoman, Harley Quinn, the Joker, Poison Ivy, The Flash, and Green Arrow were all previously featured.
Any Batman/Fortnite issue: Zero Point, in which the Dark Knight and other DC Comics characters enter the Battle Royale game world, will also have a redeemable code that will allow fans to unlock various DC Fortnite-themed characters inspired by comic book events. Fans who use all six codes can unlock the armored skin of Batman Zero. US subscribers to the online comics service DC Universe Infinite will receive the series and digital bonus codes for free.
When DC first approached me about the Batman/Fortnite series, I thought it would be a lot of fun, Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point writer Christos Gage said when the series was announced. After talking to Donald [Mustard] and finding out how deep we dive into the secrets of the Fortnite world, I was amazed! This series explores Fortnite like you’ve never seen or heard of it before, and is an important part of the game’s canon.
I’m also looking forward to including other DC Super Heroes characters that Batman has already developed relationships with in the series, Gage added. It will be interesting to share with fans how these relationships will change in this new world. The artwork from Reilly, Christian, Nelson and John is stunning and I predict this series will blow everyone away, whether you’re a DC, Batman or Fortnite fan.
