Gordon Ramsay couldn’t help but laugh at his “favorite” neighbors in Cornwall when he told Graham Norton about his new game show.
In scenes aired last night, star chef Graham explained that the idea for his new show, Bank Balance, was born during the first lockdown.
Last May, the Hell’s Kitchen star and his family, including his wife Tana, drove 250 miles from London to their £4 million vacation home in Cornwall.
This aroused the ire of residents, as the closure measures at the time consisted of staying at home and, in particular, a ban on visiting second homes.
On the origin of the bank balance, Gordon said, “It was developed a year ago, at this time, under lock and key.
“It was really awkward at closing, so we took the teams to Zoom, and how did we really get this thing in play?

“So we developed, developed, developed and scaled, scaled and scaled, and the team was spread all over the country.”
“I was in Cornwall with my favorite ….neighbors” – he joked.
Before he could finish his sentence, Graham and the audience laughed, knowing Gordon was referring to the argument.

He posed as one of his neighbors and said, “Hello, Gordon.”
The TV chief responded with a rather rude gesture, shaking his forearm ….
Last year, Cornwall residents allegedly criticized the TV chef in a Facebook group for his disjointed trip to the coast.

They were afraid of being exposed to the coronavirus by strangers, and city police have warned people several times recently to stay away from Cornwall.
Not long after, Gordon even joked in an Instagram video that he had made a hamburger for his neighbors.
Gordon Tan’s wife also defended his family’s decision to spend part of the national isolation at their vacation home in Cornwall.
She told Metro.co.uk that spending time in her family home was “the most important thing.”
