The 18-year-old was impressed last week when he played against Liverpool in the Champions League and has already scored four goals in 19 appearances for Ajax. He also added three assistants, but his general playing style was compared to that of Paul Pogba.

Gravenberg signed a three-year contract this summer, and the club may not want to say goodbye to him. However, the last graduate of the academy seems doomed to a big move, if not in winter, then at least next summer.

Ajax makes no secret of the fact that the coronavirus pandemic worries them financially, making it difficult to retain the best players. Ajax recently sold Donny van de Beck and Hakim Zieha United and Chelsea for a total of £80 million.

9:15 GREENWICH TIME: The Russian edition of the Champions League reports that St. Petersburg Zenit has contacted former Tottenham Hotspur boss Maurizio Pochettino to replace Sergei Semak.

Pochettino is a free agent and has been in contact with Real Madrid, Manchester United and Barcelona for the past few months.

Semac is in the last year of his contract with the Russian club, but it would be nice if they could call on the Argentines – although they are used to hiring senior staff with Roberto Mancini and Andre Villas-Boas, who came earlier.

8:25 GREENWICH MEAN TIME: Bavarian defense attorney David Alaba may be tempted to take a step after negotiating a new breach of contract, Bild said.

Alaba, 28 years old, is associated with Liverpool, Man City, Real Madrid and Barcelona. The Austrian’s contract expires next summer, and in January he can negotiate with foreign clubs. And although Bavaria doesn’t want him to leave, the club may have to make a wire transfer to pay some money before they lose him for free.

8:00 A.M. GMT: Portugal coach Bruno Laj, who coached Joao Felix at Benfica, believes that the Atletico Madrid striker has the potential to win the Ballon d’Or in the near future.

Under 17, Felix scored 17 goals and organized another 11 in five months to help Benfica win the Portuguese title in the 2018-19 campaign. Atlético signed an international agreement of EUR 126 million with Portugal this summer.

If he was at the age of 18, he was named best player among 21 (Golden Ball Award), he could be a golden ball nominee in no time, Lage said. We cannot say whether he will be the heir of Cristiano [Ronaldo] or not. What Cristiano did was unusual, and Joao Felix still has a long way to go. Most importantly, he has no other ambition to be a leader than to develop and show his potential throughout his game.

If he does, recognition around the world will come naturally. With his talent, his ethical dignity and his modesty, he has everything it takes to be an important global player. He is already under pressure to play in this team [Atletico], 126 million euros, the victory… we can’t put more pressure on him to succeed Cristiano.

It has been reported that negotiations with the tavern opened last week in Liverpool and the news seems to have prompted Rossoneri to take action.

Milan also wants to try to complete the 20-year-old’s move in January, and Schalke wants to pay £20 million for him.

However, Liverpool’s need for defensive work increased on Tuesday evening after Fabinho’s injury to Midtjilland FC. Jürgen Klopp is already without Virgil van Dyck, and Fabigno’s absence could accelerate Liverpool’s plans.

PSG hoping to land Donnarumma

Paris Saint-Germain still hopes to lure Gianluigi Donnarumma to the French capital, reports Corriere della Sera.

The Milanese goalkeeper has been on PSG sports director Leonardo’s wish list for some time now, with his contract expiring next year, and has yet to sign a contract with Milan, as the French champions still hope to land their man.

Leonardo has known Donnarumma well since his appointment as sports director of Milan and also knows that Rossoneri is experiencing financial problems, although the planning should take place in January.

Technical director Paolo Maldini of Milan has reportedly tried to start negotiations with Donnarumma, but so far little progress has been made.

In addition, Milan will find it difficult to manage a contract that can provide PSG for a 21-year-old.

The Serie A team tried to sign a 25-year-old striker at the end of the summer window, but failed to reach an agreement with the French club. The former AC Milan striker has a contract until 2023, which means that Genoa will have to pay a substantial contribution for her husband’s land.
