The Coronavirus pandemic made the summer transfer market unprecedented, but there was still a lot of work to be done and the most important can be seen here. The window may be closed in the major European competitions, but here are the best rumours from around the world.
Liverpool participates in the race for Garcia
Liverpool FC has joined FC Barcelona in the race for Manchester City defender Eric Garcia, according to Sport.
Barcelona tried to sign Garcia this summer, but could not agree on an agreement, although they prefer that the agreement be concluded next summer if Garcia becomes a free agent.
– Ogden: The title match will be decided by Liverpool and Spurs.
Although Garcia has expressed interest in meeting Barca, the city may be more willing to conclude an agreement in January to recover part of the investment.
Liverpool turned out to be a potential candidate for his signature, with the Premier League champions still on the defensive after injuries to Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez.
However, Barcelona continues to think that they are ahead of their time when it comes to signing Garcia, whether in January or at the end of the season.

Szoboszlai obtains his medical degree in Leipzig on Thursday
It seems that the future of Dominique Soboslai will finally be confirmed on Thursday. The Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano says that an agreement has already been reached with RB Leipzig.
Romano explains that the real work – after 24 hours of speculation – between Leipzig and the current Salzburg club, Szoboszlai, is imminent and that they have also agreed personal terms.
He thinks the deal will be confirmed on Thursday, when Shoboslai finishes his treatment.
The midfielder has been the subject of intense transfer speculation since the beginning of the 2020-21 season, with Arsenal linked to the signing of the Hungarian International.
Real Madrid and Bayern Munich were also interested in the 20-year-old, but it seems that the clubs in Leipzig and Salzburg have reached an agreement.
Braaf is transferred to Germany
Manchester City is looking for young talent Jayden Braaf, touted as Jadon Sancho’s successor, less than a year after the young man promised his future at the club, reports the Daily Mail.
After switching to PSV Eindhoven two seasons ago, Braaf had trouble making a name for himself at Manchester City and it looks like his time at the club is coming to an end.
Several Bundesliga clubs will keep an eye on him and the city will be open for a loan next month. However, a permanent move seems more likely.
Bravely, each potential buyer would cost around £8 million and it is likely that the City would include a buy-back clause in each transaction.
Bravo was named U23 Player of the Year in July of this year.
– The French newspaper Le10Sport reports that Liverpool is considering replacing Georginio Wijnaldum with Renato Sanchez. FC Barcelona has a good chance to sign Wijnaldum this summer and could even close a deal as early as January, where the player still has to negotiate an extension of his current contract with Liverpool. And if that’s the case, Lille star Sanchez is clearly at the top of Klopp’s wish list as a replacement.
– Marseille is expected to balance their books in January and Le10Sport estimates that defender Boubacar Camara can get as much as 60 million euros from Barcelona or Bayern Munich. The Marseille team is in fourth place and is looking for reinforcements, but they have to sell before they can buy and Kamara could give them the opportunity to make important additions elsewhere. Kamara has played as defender and central midfielder this season.
