Earlier this week the royal family released a short video of Prince George at a day camp in the UK. The images are from the couple’s first official holiday as a family, which took place in Canada over the Christmas break.

Since the birth of Prince George, Kate Middleton and Prince William have kept on the tradition of releasing a photo of the newborn baby. This time, the couple released a ‘birthday photo’ of Prince George. The image, taken on the baby’s first birthday, shows him dressed in a baby bonnet and white t-shirt. His aunt, Princess Charlotte, is also visible in the photograph, as is the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s dog Lupo.

Prince George of Cambridge turns 2 today, and his parents have released a new photo of the little boy.

Prince George’s eighth birthday was celebrated with a new picture of him sitting on an off-road vehicle associated with his late great-grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh.

The future king is seen sitting on the bonnet of a Land Rover Defender, smiling at his mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, behind the camera, on his birthday, which is on Thursday.

Prince Philip, who died in April only a few months shy of his 100th birthday, was a frequent driver of Land Rovers, and his coffin was carried by a specially modified Defender that he helped build.

The inclusion of the renowned car in the photograph will be regarded as a touching homage to the late Duke of Edinburgh, who had a love for engineering.

His mother is an accomplished photographer who captures pictures of George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis on a regular basis to commemorate significant events in their lives.

The photo was shot outside earlier this month in Norfolk, near the Queen’s Sandringham estate, where the Cambridges have their family home, Anmer Hall.

Kate may be passionate about photography, but she has said that her children sometimes wish their mother would put down her camera.

The duchess remarked of George, Charlotte, and Louis to a contestant in her Hold Still photography contest, “Everyone is saying, “Mummy, please stop shooting pictures.”

George has spent the last 12 months with his brothers and parents under lockdown and has seen some strange events.

Kate admitted to cutting her children’s hair in January, telling a gathering of parents, “I’ve become a hairdresser this lockdown, much to my children’s dismay, watching mom cutting hair.”

On July 22, 2013, at 4.24 p.m., Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge was born at the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, weighing 8lb 6oz.

One day later, he made his public debut on the hospital steps in front of the world’s media, wrapped in a white merino wool shawl and held in his delighted parents’ arms.

He will be the 43rd king since William the Conqueror took the throne of England if he follows in the footsteps of his grandfather, the Prince of Wales, and subsequently his father, William, as anticipated.
