NBA superstars are often remembered after retirement for one reason: to win. Stars that don’t win are often criticized or their size decreases because we’ve already seen Bill Russell conquer 11 rings or Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Michael Jordan conquer 6. That’s why winning the NBA final is one of the most important criteria in determining the best players of all time.

Unfortunately, other superstars have never managed to win the ring or lose the final records, which has damaged their position among the top players. What if we could set the final record for the Big 15 all-time greats? Who’s going to GOAT? Wins and losses in each of the legendary finals change the rankings of all the big players who don’t have Michael Jordan, Karim Abdul-Jabbar or Bill Russell in the lead.

15. Michael Jordan 0-6

If the record for the number of victories and losses of the best players had been broken, Michael Jordan would have fallen from first to last place. Jordan remained undefeated in reality and dominated the last 6 episodes of the 6th edition of the series. MJ is rightly considered the best player because of his unbeaten record, but it is very scary to see MJ reach the finals with an 0-6. On that list is M.J.’s last.

The average values for Jordan are 33.6 BCP, 6.0 RPG, 6.0 APG, 1.8 LNG, 0.7 GPG with 48.1 BCP, 36.8 3P and 80.6 PT. In 35 races in the general classification Jordan won 24 victories and was able to conquer 6 NBA rings with 6 MVP’s in the final. Jordan’s dominance in the finals is legendary, which is why it is widely known as GOAT.

14. Russell Bill 1-11

http://31.220.61.170/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/1605402555_869_Ranking-The-15-Greatest-Players-Ever-If-Their-Finals-Records.jpg

The great Bill Russell is perhaps the biggest winner in the history of team sports, with 11 titles in 12 finals. Russell’s incredible record in the finals is why many people claim that the former Celtic Center in Boston is the largest center of all time. Russell’s record is awful when his last victories and losses are reversed. A victory in 12 missions would be the worst record for a Hall of Fame if MJ could not do without a win.

Russell’s statistics in the finals are amazing, as he played an average of 16.4 PPG, 24.5 RPG and 4.2 APG at 45.6 FG% and 61.4 FT% in the 70 matches of the final. The fact that Bill Russell has spent almost an entire season in the finals of his career is incomprehensible, and that he has won a large number of matches – 45. There’ll never be another Bill Russell.

13. Tim Duncan 1-5

http://31.220.61.170/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/1604355204_616_Top-10-Highest-Career-Earnings-in-NBA-History.jpg

Tim Duncan is the biggest player in Spur’s history, and his success in the finals is probably the main reason, as is his consistent dominance in the regular season. If Duncan’s record had been broken in the finals, he would have been 5-1, which is not very pleasant. Duncan’s only victory is actually the same as that of three other great players of all time, although in real life he has one of the best records of all time.

Duncan’s average figures are 20.8 PCO, 13.3 GPR, 2.8 GPA, 0.8 LNG and 2.4 GPO. Timmy shot 48.5 FG%, 0.0 3P% and 71.6 FT%. Timmy won an incredible 67.6% in the final, which means he only lost 11 out of 34 matches. Duncan’s 5 rings and 3 MVP’s in the final made him one of the 10 biggest MVP’s in history, and he will be very happy that his record will not be reversed.

12. Hakim Olajuwon 1-2

http://31.220.61.170/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Ranking-The-15-Greatest-Players-Ever-If-Their-Finals-Records.png

The great Hakim Olajuwon reached the last 2-1 and glorified Houston rockets for two consecutive victories in 1994 and 1995. If Hakeem lost those two, his record would be 1-2. Hakim’s only final defeat came in 1986 against Larry Byrd and the Boston Celtics, which would have been his only victory if it had gone wrong. Olajuwon will only find Oscar Robertson as the only great pantheon that has won a victory.

Hakim Olajuwon has played a total of 17 finals in his career, of which he won 10. The final average was 27.5 BCP, 10.6 RPG, 3.4 APG, 1.9 LNG, 3.2 BPG, 48.8 BPG, 100.0 3PG and 74.0 PT. Hakim actually has 2 rings and 2 MVP’s in the finals, making him one of the biggest centers of all time. With the cancellation of the final the top 10 is missing.

11. Oscar Robertson 1-1

http://31.220.61.170/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/1605402557_249_Ranking-The-15-Greatest-Players-Ever-If-Their-Finals-Records.jpg

Big O is the original triple king, who actually went 1:1. Robertson would still be out of his hair and make 1-1 if his record was reversed, which means he would have the best of the top 15 results. Robertson is underestimated given his dominance on the field, and he would have won the general classification if other superstars had broken their last records.

Oscar’s incredibly consistent statistics were not entirely correct in the finals, averaging 16.3 PPG, 4.2 RPG, 8.7 APG, 0.3 SPG and 0.0 BPG at 47.3 FG% and 83.7 FT%. Robertson won 7 out of 11 participations, which led to an NBA ring. He will only have one place in the top 10 of the great Kobe Bryant if his record is broken.

10. Kobe-Bryant 2-5

http://31.220.61.170/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/1605402558_15_Ranking-The-15-Greatest-Players-Ever-If-Their-Finals-Records.jpg Credit: USATSI

Kobe Bean Bryant, the Black Mamba, had a sensational career in the finals, with 5-2 and 2 MVP finals. His killer instincts and unstoppable offensive play made him the winner of the highest level, although that would not have been true if his great track record in the finals had been cancelled. Kobe would have scored 2-5, which is far from his real record.

In fact, Kobe Bryant was excellent in the final round. Bryant average 25.3 BCA, 5.7 GRP, 5.1 GPA, 1.8 LNG and 0.9 GPT – 41.2 percent BCA, 31.4 percent BCA and 84.8 percent GPT. Bryant won most matches in the finals – 62.2%, and overall – 23-14. It is also very appropriate that Kobe 23-14 is very close to Michael Jordan’s record 24-11.

9. Shake O’Neill 2-4

http://31.220.61.170/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/1604355205_757_Top-10-Highest-Career-Earnings-in-NBA-History.jpg Credit: Getty Pictures

The great Shakeel O’Neill easily ranks among the top 10 players and is also one of the world’s biggest stars in the sport. O’Neill’s charisma makes him one of his favorite players, although his dominant position on the field is what NBA fans remember most. If O’Neill’s record in the final is cancelled, he will not have a triple MVP in the final and he will have a defeat record in the final.

O’Neill has always been recognized as one of the top finalists with 28.8 PPG, 13.1 RPG, 3.4 APG, 0.5 SPG and 2.1 BPG. O’Neill came out of the field with 60.2%, and only 48.4% FT% as expected. In the 19 seasons of the NBA, the Shak has reached the final 6 times and won 17 of the 30 matches. He’s the 9th best player of all time when his records change.

8. Larrybird 2-3

http://31.220.61.170/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/1604277351_450_Stephen-Curry-Total-Domination--.jpg-.jpg Andrew D. Bernstein/NVAE/Getty Pictures

The legendary Larry Bird set a 3-2 record in the finals. If only Bird would play for more years and take better care of himself, he would be as big as any other player. If Bird’s final record had been broken, it would have been 2 to 3, which is not very impressive for an experienced player like Bird. That would be the 8. in the story, and that’s about the same place it usually is.

Larry Bird has invested throughout his career in the latest sample statistics, averaging 23.1 PPG, 11.6 RPG, 6.0 APG, 2.0 SPG and 0.8 BPG. The bird has always been a sniper: The final absorption statistics were 45.8 FG%, 42.2 3P%, 87.2 FT%. As one of the greatest clutch players in history, it is no surprise that Bird has won 16 of the 31 finals of his career.

7. Kevin Durant 2-2

http://31.220.61.170/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/1605402559_518_Ranking-The-15-Greatest-Players-Ever-If-Their-Finals-Records.jpg Credit: Getty Images

More recently, Kevin Durant won his first two NBA rings, although he lost to Miami Heath in 2012 and the Toronto Raptors in 2018 (although he was injured for most of the series). KD’s record in the last round would have been the same if he had been cancelled, and he would have been the seventh best player of all time. KD’s unbridled ability to score points makes him the best of the 15 talents, and his track record doesn’t detract from that.

In the finals Durant was and is one of the five biggest bombers. Durant reduced 30.3 BCP, 7.7 RPG, 4.5 APG, 1.0 LNG and 1.5 GPG by 54.6 PF%, 44.8 3P% and 91.1 PT%. KD was lucky to play together with other star players such as Stephen Curry, Russell Westbrook, Clay Thompson and James Harden, which undoubtedly helped him to get back in the finals.

6. Karim Abdul-Jabbar 4-6

http://31.220.61.170/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/1605402559_535_Ranking-The-15-Greatest-Players-Ever-If-Their-Finals-Records.jpg

The centre, which is said to be the greatest actor in history, is Karim Abdul-Jabbar. During his career he made ten NBA finals and won six. It’s just not possible for a big player like Karim to have a losing record. But if his victories and defeats were reversed, he would be 4-6, which would put him in sixth place. place after the legendary Lakers and his former teammate.

Karim has an average of 23.5 BCP, 9.1 RPG, 3.2 APG, 0.9 LNG and 2.2 GPG for 56 performances in the finals. He shot 52.3% of the ground and 70% of the line and won 29 of 56 races. Karim’s record for victories is just over 50%, which is much better than losing.

5. Magic Johnson 4-5

http://31.220.61.170/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Ranking-The-15-Greatest-Players-Ever-If-Their-Finals-Records.jpeg

The legendary Magic Johnson secured 9 colossal finals in his career, a testament to his greatness as a leader and true leader. Magic of course had a record of 5:4 victories. But if his balance was upside down, Magic would only be at 4-5, which doesn’t sound very good. A defeat in the finals will always be a defeat, no matter how good a player is, and critics will blame him.

Magic average 19.4 PPG, 7.9 RPG, 11.7 APG, 2.0 SPG and 0.3 BPG throughout his career while playing in the finals. It’s magic you have to hold on to: He was always at his level and even out there when he reached the finals, because few players were such a great leader as the legendary playmaker. He would still be in the top five if his record was broken in the last lap.

4. World Chamberlain 4-2

http://31.220.61.170/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/1604010839_467_Ranking-The-Top-10-Most-Selfish-Players-In-NBA-History.jpg

Wilt Chamberlain is one of the best centers of all time, but he only managed to win 2 rings of 6 gigs. Wilt was in his time more athletic and capable than any other player in the league, which gave him a huge advantage to dominate the game. If his balance were reversed, Wilt would be the greatest center of all time and no one would doubt it.

The world battles with the great Bill Russell were iconic, and that’s what NBA historians remember from most world championship contests. Despite the fact that Wilt has been defeated by Russell on numerous occasions, he has always played in every last round in which he has ever played. MP averaged 18.6 BCP, 24.6 RPG and 3.8 BCP and won 16 of his 35 finals, or 55.9% of the field.

3. Lebron James 6-4

http://31.220.61.170/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/1605402561_917_Ranking-The-15-Greatest-Players-Ever-If-Their-Finals-Records.jpg Credit: AP

King Lebron James has always been critical throughout his career, but the biggest criticism is undoubtedly his record of defeats in the finals. If LeBron James had the ability to trade winnings and losses, you could be looking at the greatest player of all time. Lebron James spent 17 seasons in the Hall of Fame, and the only highlight of his career is the number of final defeats on his resume.

LeBron’s statistics on the final results of his career are truly sensational, as he averaged 28.4 PPG, 10.2 RPG, 7.8 APG, 1.7 SPG and 0.8 BPG as a percentage of shots – 48.4 FG%, 35.2 3P% and 73.1 FT%. James has always been the best player in all the final series, except in the final of 2011 against Dirk Nowicki and the last round, which is really unbelievable for a man who has played a total of 10 games. Lebron also won 22 of his 55 appearances.

2. Jerry West 8-1

http://31.220.61.170/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/1605402561_323_Ranking-The-15-Greatest-Players-Ever-If-Their-Finals-Records.jpg (via Sports Illustrated)

Jerry West, the NBA logo, reached the last 1-8 of his career. Throughout his career as a player and then as an owner, West has always put aside his poor record in the finals, but that has certainly confused him with the odds of the big players of all time. When his record is broken, look at the 3 best players of all time. The goal of the game is to win, and West would win 8 rings if everything was turned upside down. If that were the case, he could be recognized as the greatest perimeter player of all time.

The West is still one of the top players in the finals, with an average of 30.5 ATP, 5.0 RPG and 5.6 APG with 45.9 ATP and 82.1 RTP. The capabilities of the West as striker and player have always been clear and to be honest, bad luck and some of the greatest rivals of all time are the reason that Jerry West did not win the final. He won 22 of the 55 participations in the final round, which is identical to the victory of Lebron James.

1. Elgin Baylor 8-0

http://31.220.61.170/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/1605402561_124_Ranking-The-15-Greatest-Players-Ever-If-Their-Finals-Records.jpeg

Surprisingly, a player as dominant as Elgin Baylor didn’t win in his last career. Baylor is one of the biggest strikers and bombers of all time that has never really won an NBA ring, and that’s the only reason why Baylor is less and less mentioned in the top 10. If his record had been broken in the finals, Baylor would probably be the best player. He had talent and rewards that kept him going, but the series of undefeated finals with an 8-0 result is incredible.

Typical for the great Elgin Baylor were his statistics exceptional. There was an average of 26.4 BCPs, 13.5 BRMs and 3.6 FAMs with 43.2 BCPs and 74.9 FTRs. It’s amazing how a big player like Baylor managed to win only 36.3% of his performance in the last round, which means he won 16 of his 44 achievements. Baylor will probably be the greatest NBA player of all time who has never won an NBA title and the number one player of all time if he manages to change his record in the finals.
