This is again the case, and Studio Wildcard has just announced the return of the CRA: Holiday event with the theme Survival – Winter Wonderland. In the fifth part, the developers have detailed some of the new things they have added for Survivors.
CRA celebrates the holidays
The RCAF Wonderland wouldn’t be complete without the red dinosaur hat – good old Raptor Claus. At midnight (playtime) a Raptor flies over all the cards in the game and the island gets in the holiday mood. So survivors playing on the official servers can get the most out of RaptorClaus by simply slowing down playing time.
For the uninitiated: The RaptorClaus appears from midnight to 2 a.m. and offers a treat in the form of berries, meat, charcoal or mistletoe. You can use them to make other goodies or exchange them for GachaClaus, which you can find anywhere on the map.
Yes, the GachaClaus also returns, because the creature accepts coal from the survivors in exchange for Christmas-themed items. It was also mentioned that players can exchange mistletoe as well as charcoal for a chance to get weapons, armor and seven new chibis:
- Bulldog
- Light as a feather
- Gaja Klaus
- Firefly
- Red deer
- Tibia horn
- Kairuku top hat
As far as the competition sheets are concerned, Wildcard has added eight more to the list:
- Blue winter hat
- Green cap for winter
- Purple Winter Bob.
- Noglin swimsuit skin for men and women
- Male and female yeti skin in swimwear
- Leather stroller sweater
- Onion skin
- and Rex Sweater’s skin
They’ve also added new colors of wild creatures…
- Jade
- PineGreen
- SpruceGreen
- Glacier
- DarkMagenta
- Via
- Dark purple
- PowderBlue
Familiar items from previous Winter Wonders also return, such as the Dino Candy, which allows you to temporarily tame creatures with unique attributes of sight and speed.
CRA players will also benefit from a free trial during the event, which will officially run from the 17th to the 17th. December and the 2nd. January 2021, double cultivation, XP and harvest. This event should be one of the oldest in the Winter Wonderland, so that the survivors have enough time to polish up this festive business.
New skins
In the last Community Crunch Studio Wildcard also mentioned that they had made special skins in honour of RCAF II and RCAF : An animated series of advertisements.
To integrate these skins into the game, the survivors just look at the trailers in the RCAF game menu. Up for grabs is a raptor skin inspired by the upcoming anime series, as well as an axe and spear skin inspired by ARK II.
‘ARC: cartoon series cartoon preview
For the rest of the game and animated series, Jeremey Stieglitz, co-founder of Studio Wildcard, gave an overview of some of the main characters in the series.
On Twitter he posted several photos of the protagonist Helena Walker with Mayen Lee, Sir Edmund Rockwell and General Gaius Marcellus Nerva. It also revealed some of the creatures in the series.
ARK’s artistic director, Jesse Rapchak, asked his base to show the gameplay of ARK II. He replied that it will take some time before the gameplay is shown, but that it is a foretaste of our in-game assets in a first version of the new engine to keep you (the players) informed.
